Eben Meriam, better know as "E. M.," the meteorologist, died a few days since, at his residence in Brooklyn, New York, in the 70th year of his age. The Marquise Doria, noted for her beauty, is dead in Italy from a disease caused by constantly having flowers in her rooms. Her age was 20. An English house has taken all the Chateau Margaux wines for ten years, at $583 per each of 136 gallons. The 1st Ohio heavy artillery, 900 strong, reached Knoxville on the 7th inst.
