Upon its arrival there it was attached to Palmer's Brigade of Casey's Division, and on March 30 Stone's River,--then in Hazen's (2d) Brigade, Palmer's (2d) Division, Crittenden's Corps — losing 1t the battle of Stone's River. It was then in Palmer's Division, its loss in that battle amounting 1863, it was placed in Carlin's (1st) Brigade, Palmer's (1st) Division, Fourteenth Corps, in which c Ninth Indiana Infantry.
