Garnett offered a resolution to the effect that a joint committee be authorized to consider the propriety of amending the law of enclosures, commonly known as the Fence law. Mr. Collier offered the following resolution, which was agreed to: Resolved. That the Committee on Military Affairs inquire and report whether the forces now being raised pursuant to the act of May 5th, 1862, for the command of Gen. J. B. Floyd, shall be disbanded or transferred to the General Government. Mr. Pate also offered a resolution on the same subject, that so much of the Governor's Message as relates to Gen.
