4 اغضنت السَّمَآءُ ذ The sky rained continually; (S, TA;) as also غضنت [perhaps ↓ غَضَنَت , but more probably, I think, ↓ غَضَّنَت ] (TA.) And غضنت السَّحَابَةُ [The (??) continually].
