εὔδειπν-ος , ον,
A.with goodly feasts, δαῖτες εὔ. well-appointed, sumptuous feasts, E.Med.200 (anap.).
II. epith. of departed souls to whom offerings were made (cf. foreg.), “παρ᾽ εὐδείπνοις ἔσῃ ἄτιμος ἐμπύροισι κνισωτοῖς χθονόςA.Ch.484; taken by some Gramm. as applied to the festival itself, Hsch., Phot., EM42.3.
