II. fasten, adjust, Χρῆμα κατηρτημένον a well-adjusted or convenient thing, Hdt.3.80; κατήρτητο became normal, recovered sense, Hp.Epid.1.26.ή; οὐδὲν -ημένον λέγειν to talk no connected sense, Id.Acut.(Sp.)16:—later in Act., “τῇ θεῷ κατάρτησον σαυτήν” Herod.1.62.
