Hunt, Freeman 1804-1858

Author; born in Quincy, Mass., March 21, 1804; became a printer; engaged in journalism and during his career was publisher of several papers. His works include American anecdotes, original and selected, by an American; Comprehensive Atlas; Letters about the Hudson River and its vicinity; Lives of American merchants, etc. He died in Brooklyn, N. Y., March 2, 1858.
