Laboulaye, ÉDouard Rene Lefevre 1811-1883

Author; born in Paris, France, Jan. 18, 1811; became a lawyer in 1842, and practised in his native city. Later he became a prominent educator in France. He greatly admired the Constitution of the United States, and during the Civil War advocated the cause of the North. His works relating to the United States include Political history of the United States; The United States and France; Paris in America; And memoirs of Franklin. He died in Paris, May 25, 1883.
