Johnson, Hale 1847-

Lawyer; born in Montgomery county, Ind., Aug. 21, 1847; admitted to the bar of Illinois in 1875; has been actively identified with the Prohibition party for twenty years, and [177] has been its candidate for governor of the State of Illinois and for Vice-President in 1896.
