Howe, Frederic Clemson 1867-

Lawyer; born in Meadville, Pa., Nov. 21, 1867; graduated at Allegheny College, Pa., in 1889, and at Johns Hopkins University in 1892; studied at Halle, Germany, at the University of Maryland Law School, and the New York Law School. He was Professor of Law in the Cleveland College of Law, and Lecturer on Taxation in the Western Reserve University. He is author of Taxation and taxes in the United States, under the internal revenue system, 1791–;1895.
