ضَرِمٌ ذ [part. n. of 1: Becoming kindled; &c. ― -b2- And hence, (tropical:) Burning with hunger; or] vehemently hungry; (Msb;) [or simply] hungering, or hungry: (S, K:) or [burning with anger; or] violently angry. (Msb.) ― -b3- And (assumed tropical:) A beast of prey in a state of excitement by lust. (TA.) ― -b4- And (tropical:) A horse that runs vehemently [or ardently]; (S, K, TA;) and so ضَرِمُ العَدْوِ. (TA.) ― -b5- And (assumed tropical:) The young one of the eagle. (S, K.)
