Later from Havana.
important movement at St. Domingo.

New York, March 29.--The steamship Quaker City, from Havana, March 25th, arrived to-day.

Much excitement existed there on the subject of the annexation of St. Domingo to Spain. It seems that a system of Spanish emigration has been going on to that Island, emigrants being instructed, when the proper time arrived, to hoist the Spanish flag and invoke the protection of Spain. This was done on the 16th, much to the astonishment of the blacks and natives. When the news reached Havana the frigate Blanca, fully armed with a large number of regular troops, was dispatched from the Island on the 23d, and two screw frigates will soon follow with 5,000 regulars.

A large naval and military force of 10,000 is said to be on the way from Spain to Cuba.

It is stated that Haiti will soon share the same fate as St. Domingo, with the consent of France.

The steamer Mohawk arrived at Havana on Sunday.

A million of dollars are said to be en route from Spain to said the metal circulation on the Island.
