Alexandria Fish market.

--We learn from the Alexandria Gazette that large quantities of shad and herrings are now caught at the Potomac Landings, and are selling at the Fish Wharf there at comparatively low prices — shad at $5 per hundred, herring at from $3 to $4 per thousand. The fish, generally, are large and fat. The demand is not as great as usual, owing to the unsettled condition of the country. More than a usual quantity of fish this year will be suited down, and barrelled on the Fishing Shores, and at the Alexandria Fish Wharf.
