The "Fireside Protectors" are daily increasing in numbers, and will soon be ready to hold a meeting for organization. Citizens who have not the time or the inclination to attach themselves to any of the regularly organized volunteer companies, should join the Protectors, so as to be prepared for home service, when called upon.
