Accidents from fire Arms.

--The Fredericksburg Herald learns that Capt. Morgan, of the Arkansas Regiment, was injured severely, though it is hoped not dangerously, on Saturday last, by the accidental discharge of his pistol, which he was cleaning. Capt. M. is much esteemed by officers and men, as well as the many citizens of this section who have made his acquaintance during his sojourn near this place.

Young Thornton, of Port Royal, had his arm shattered in camp the same day by the discharge of a gun which he was drawing towards him. Amputation was deemed necessary, and it is said the brave youth never winced during the operation.

Mr. Robert Maye was accidentally wounded in the fleshy part of the arm by the accidental discharge of a double-barreled gun, which was lying in a buggy, and from which he leaped. The shot were extracted, and it is believed no danger attends the wound.
