The militia

made a handsome turn out yesterday, and in their evolutions showed the good effects of their frequent drills. After forming into line, under Col. Danforth, they marched to the western suburbs, preceded by a band of music, where they were reviewed by the Governor. The militia of Richmond composed as it is of many of our best citizens, will be able to do good service whenever called upon, provided the various commands are not marched to death before meeting the foe.
