Fatal accident.

--At Philadelphia, on the morning of the 3d inst., the mangled body of Mr. Edmund Garrison, a retired merchant, was found in Minor street, opposite the year of the American Hotel, in which he had been boarding. He had evidently fallen from the roof of the building, as several panes of glass in the windows had been broken in his descent. The body was shockingly mutilated, showing that death had been instantaneous. He was formerly a member of the firm of Barnet, Nesbit and Garrison.
