By the Governor of Virginia — a proclamation. --Whereas, it is represented that Miller's Tavern, the place last appointed for holding the sessions of the County Court of Essex county, is infected with contagious disease, therefore, by virtue of authority vested in the Executive by law, I John Letcher, Governor of the Commonwealth of Virginia, do hereby require the justices composing the County Court of the said county of Essex to hold the next regular sessions of said Court at Hollywood, in that county, and thereafter to continue to hold the monthly sessions of the Court at the same place so long as the reason for the change hereby authorized shall continue. Given under my hand as Governor, and under the less seal of the Commonwealth, at Richmond, this 9th day of March, A D 1863, and in the 87th year of the Commonwealth. John Detcher. Chambers, Conrad, Conrow, Carry, Elliott, Ewing, Farrow, Freeman, Garland, Graham, Gray, Harris, Hartridge, Hilton, Hodge, Kenner, Lander, Machan, McDowell MoRas, McQueen, Moore Pughkoyston, Sexton, Strickland, Swann, Trippe, Welch and Wilcox--35. The resolutions an amended were then ordered to a third reading, and bei
