Mayor's Court.
--The following cases were before the Mayor yesterday morning.
Complaint was made by Mrs. Jane Farmer against Mrs. Nancy Davenport and her daughter, Emma Woodward, of keeping an ill-governed, disorderly house, and using abusive and threatening language towards her. Mes Farmer alleges that she has been the subject of persecution by the accused for some time back, and that recently her life has been threatened by them.
The charges were denied by the defence.
These part s troublesome characters.-- For some time back be had been trying to get them to move, and had obtained from them promises to do so. Incidental to the matter on hand, officer Morris mentioned that a coopts was already pending in Court against Miss Woodward (who is quite young and pretty) for slapping his (Morris's) jaws and drawing a pistol on him during the riot which occurred last year.
At the solicitation of counsel, the Mayor continued the case till to-morrow morning.

These parties all occupy the old building on Broad street known as Brackett's Tavern, and James M.
