Arrival of Mississippi troops.

--Five companies of volunteers, averaging one hundred men, from Mississippi, reached Lynchburg yesterday morning--Tishomingo Rifles, Capt. Reynolds; the Town Creek Rifles, Capt. W. C. Bromley; the Magnolia Rifles, Capt. Davis; the Beck Rifles, Capt W. D. Beck; and the Cherry Creek Rifles. They form a part of three regiments now on their way to Virginia from Mississippi, and are under command of the gallant Col. Barksdale, former member of Congress from Mississippi, Lieut. Col. Boone, and Major Humphreys. Nearly all of the men are supplied with the most effective arms, and for soldierly bearing and fine physical appearance cannot be surpassed by any troops in the world. The other portion of the troops from Mississippi are hourly expected.--Lynchburg Republican.
