Brigadier-General Walker.

Brigadier-General W. H. T. Walker, of Georgia, arrived in this city yesterday from the army of the Potomac. We have a report that he has resigned or contemplates resigning his position, but we hope he may be induced to after his determination. One of the most accomplished and experienced officers in the army the people of the country will regret to lose the benefits of his valuable services.
