reported destruction of Humboldt by Secessionists.

Leavenworth, Oct. 21.
--The Consecrative, of this city, has advices that the town of Humbolde, Kansas, has been totally burned by the Secessionists from the Indian country. It is thought probable that the records and papers of the United States Land office were destroyed.

The Republican State ticket is formed without regard to political principles. The last Legislature having failed to provide for an election in the coming November, it is claimed by those opposed to this movement that the present incumbents hold over until January, 1862.

Two hundred wagons, and one thousand yoke of oxen have been sent to Fremont's command within the past week.

The steamer Florence arrived here this morning from St. Louis, having come through unmolested.
