Raised Bill.

--We have been shown a bill of the denomination of one dollar, on the Union Bank of Augusta, which has been raised to a five by passing the figure 3 over the figure 1, on the medalions, and elsewhere on the bill, whatever the original figure occurs. It is well executed, and is difficult to detect at first glance. It is of necessary to caution merchants and others against these altered bills.--Columbus Sun.
