[*] 153. The future participle represents an action as future with reference to the time of its leading verb. E.g. Τοῦτο ποιήσων ἔρχεται, he is coming to do this; τοῦτο ποιήσων ἦλθεν, he came to do this. Πεμφθήσεται ταῦτα ἐρῶν, he will be sent to say this. Οἶδα αὐτὸν τοῦτο ποιήσοντα, I know that he will do this; οἶδα τοῦτο ποιήσων, I know that I shall do this; ᾔδειν αὐτὸν τοῦτο ποιήσοντα, I knew that he would do this.
