Yankee Barbarity

--A letter was received in Lynchburg on Monday, days the Virginian, from a respectable lady in Faultier, stating that a hospital in Georgetown, containing five hundred negroes inflicted with small-pox, was burned up a day or two since. This shocking affair, attributed by the Yankees to accident, is believed to have been the result of a sold- blooded purpose to exterminate the negroes and the disease by the summary but execrable design of burning the building in which they were suffering.
