SAINT-PLANCARD

The Chapel of Saint-Jean, famous for its Romanesque frescos, was built on the site of a pagan sanctuary. This was
dedicated to Jupiter Optimus Maximus and to the local
god Suttugius, and was surrounded by a small necropolis.
