DO´RTICUM

DO´RTICUM (Δορτικόν), a town of Moesia, situated to the northwest of the mouth of the river Timaeus. It is identified with the modern Decz, near Blasca. (Ptol. 3.9.4; Procop. De Aedif. 4.6; Itin. Ant 219; Geogr. Rav. 4.7, where it is erroneously called Clorticum.)
