THAMNA

THAMNA (Θάμνα: Eth. Θαμνίτης), a large village of Palestine near Lydda, on the way to Jerusalem, which gave its name to the Toparchia Thamnitica. (Ptol. 5.16.8; Joseph. B. J. 3.3, 5.4; Plin.
