Old Dominion Institute--Corner of Franklin and 5th streets.

--The second half of the session of this School, for 1860-'61, will commence on the 15th of February and end the 30th of June next ensuing.

The Rev. Francis J. Boggs has been added to the Board of Instruction, and will, with his family, reside in the Institute buildings. The Musical Department will continue under Mr. Chase's superintendence, who will be aided by competent assistants. A gentleman has been employed to take charge of the classes in Algebra, and others will be to teach other specific studies; and another female teacher will be employed. The Lectures on Biblical Literature, by Rev. Jas. A. Duncan, will be continued, as also the Friday afternoon Literary Lectures. The Preparatory Department, for very small girls, will receive the special care of the Principal of the School.

The Boarding Department will be liberally and carefully conducted, and every comfort and facility will be afforded to young ladies boarding in the family.

No labor or expense will be spared to make the School equal to any in the land for the education of females.
