Amusements.

--The theatre has been put in complete repair; some essential alterations have been made in the internal arrangements, and the establishment presents a very neat and attractive appearance. It will probably be open to the public the last of this week. The patronage continues undiminished at Metropolitan Hall, where Wells and Warwick's excellent company are bringing out fresh novelties every night. There is nothing more beneficial than a hearty laugh, and no better way of getting rid of the weight of care than by visiting this entertainment. Franklin Hall, below the Exchange, is another popular place of resort, where music and the drama are among the "varieties" provided for an evening's amusement.
