Picket guard.

--Captain John F. Wrenn's cavalry company have, charge of the picket duty around the city, and the members perform their arduous and responsible duty in a way that merits all praise. It is hardly possible for anybody to get past his men without the proper vouchers. They are vigilant and determined in the execution of their duty. It is well.
