DALDIS

DALDIS ( Δάλδις: Eth. Δαλδιανός), a town which Ptolemy places on the borders of Phrygia and Lydia (5.2); and Suidas (s. v. Ἀρτεμίδωρος), in Lydia. It was the birthplace of Artemidorus, the author of the Oneirocritica. There are coins of the imperial period with the epigraph Δαλδιανων. The site is unknown.
