TOME´RUS

TOME´RUS (Τόμηρος, Arrian, Ind. 24), a river, or rather torrent of Gedrosia, called Tonberos or Tomberos by Pliny (6.23. s. 25.93, ed. Sillig.), and Tubero by Mela (3.7). According to the distances in Arrian, this river is the Muklow or Hingul.
