Decease of a Clergyman.

--Rev. Richard Armstrong, D. D., President of the Board of Education of the Sandwich Island Kingdom, member of his Majesty's privy council of State and of the House of Nobles, died in Honolulu on the of September, from injuries received from the fall of a horse some three weeks previous. Dr. Armstrong was an early missionary to the Sandwich Islands. He was born at McEvansville, Pa., April 13th, 1865, graduated at Dickinson College, and studied for the ministry of Princeton Seminary. He was an intimate friend of the King, who wrote an affectionate letter of condolence to his family.
