The news in the Churches.

--The Charlotte (N. C.) Bulletin, of Monday, referring to the news from Richmond, says:

‘ We served copies of the news upon the pastors of several of the churches in this city, whose congregations were assembled on Sunday morning for worship, to be read before them, and we learn that the effect produced on the reading the dispatch was touching and sublime. Silence prevailed for some seconds and all appeared to have bedewed their cheeks with tears of thankfulness to the God of Battles for his signal manifestations in behalf of an oppressed people.
