County Matters. --A Rousch and William Hicks were yesterday arrested by Constable Thomas, of Henrico, the first charged with beating and otherwise ill-treating his wife, on the first day of September. Since that time the parties have arranged their differences, and Mrs. R. appeared before Justice Baker and asked him to dismiss the warrant, which was accordingly done.--Mr. H. was required, by Justice Nelson, to give security to keep the peace, and also to appear before the Grand Jury in November next, to answer an indictment for striking Hartwell Wyatt with a stick; which bail was promptly given.
