May 12.--Mr. Wigfall says in a letter to a friend in Washington, in great confidence, that the Confederate army will capture Washington, Lincoln, and his Cabinet, unless they leave before the middle of June.
He says they have nearly one hundred thousand well-armed troops, and in less than two weeks will be on their way to Washington, and expect to winter in Philadelphia.--Charleston Mercury.
