Smith, Horace Wemyss 1825-

Author; born in Philadelphia county, Pa., Aug. 15, 1825; received a public school education; studied dentistry, but did not practise; served in the National army in the early part of the Civil War; later turned his attention to literature. His publications include Nuts for future historians to crack; Yorktown orderly-book; and History of the Germantown Academy.
