قَادِحَةٌ ذ [A canker-worm;] the worm (Lth, S, Mgh, L, K) that cankers, or corrodes, trees and teeth: (Lth, * Mgh, * L, TA:) [coll. gen. n. ↓ قَادِحٌ ; occurring in the K in art. خرب, &c.:] pl. قَوَادِحُ. (L.) One says, قَدْ أَسْرَعَتْ فِى أَسْنَانِهِ القَوَادِحِ [The canker-worms have quickly come into his teeth]. (L.)
