Horse stealing.

--Orris Harris, a notorious character, was arrested by officer Adams on the charge of breaking into the stable of Tim Harris, a negro, and stealing a horse. The officer saw the prisoner in possession of the horse, and, keeping his trail for several hours, finally succeeded in capturing him. After a hearing before the Mayor, Harris was remanded for a further hearing at the next term of the Hustings Court.
