Winter campaign.

It seems to be supposed that the Yankee Army of the Potomac contemplates no further military operations this winter. Their own journals so give out, from which we conclude that they are going to surprise us if possible. The heavy reinforcements from Grant's army may be intended for one of these sudden rushes onward which characterize Meade's movements. But an eagle eye is watching him, and, whenever or whenever he may appear, be will find a hospitable reception awaiting him.
