[761] ἀγρούς might be acc. of motion to （ Soph. OC 1769 “θήβας δ᾽ ἡμᾶς ι ... πέμψον）;” but it is better here governed by ἐπὶ: for the position of the prep. cp. 734, 1205, Soph. El. 780 “οὔτε νυκτὸς οὔτ᾽ ἐξ ἡμέρας.”
