[867] Ὄλυμπος not the mountain, as in the Iliad, but, as in the Odyssey (Hom. Od. 6.42), the bright supernal abode of the gods: and so = the sky itself: Soph. OC 1654 “γῆν τε προσκυνοῦνθ᾽ ὁμοῦ ι καὶ τὸν θεῶν Ὄλυμπον.”
