Segusiāni

One of the most important peoples in Gallia Lugdunensis, bounded by the Allobroges on the south, by the Sequani on the east, by the Aedni on the north, and by the Arverni on the west. In their territory was the town of Lugdunum (q.v.), the capital of the modern province (B. G. i. 10; vii. 64).
