American Ships in the East Indies.

--A circular dated Calcutta, July 22d, states that the employment of American vessels for the present is about stopped, from the impossibility of shippers obtaining insurance, as most of the insurance companies have received orders from home to avoid them altogether until further orders, while the few that will insure are so limited as to extent and direction as to preclude any business of importance being done.
