A Texas Incident

--A late number of the Boston (Texas) Telegraph makes the following announcement:

‘ About 10 o'clock this morning, Ed. O'Meara and Ambase Floyd, armed with double-barreled shot guns, met each other in the main road, in sight of their residences, when they fired, and each man fell mortally wounded. When the wives and children of the two unfortunate men gathered around them, with piteous cries and shrieks, the scene was most heartrending, and God forbid that we should ever again be called to witness so melancholy a scene.
