COROMANIS

COROMANIS (Κορομανὶς πόλις), a town of the Abucaei, on the Sacer Sinus, at the NW. extremity of the Persian gulf. Mr. Forster identifies it with “the town of Graan Harb, a mart of commerce on the Persian gulf, at the foot of the bay of Koue<*>t or Dooat-al-Khusma.” (Arabia, vol. i., p. 263, vol. ii. p. 213.)
