Provisions stopped by a mob.

--Eighty-six casks of bacon were taken off the Cincinnati and Louisville mail steamer Superior on Saturday, by a mob of one hundred persons. The bacon was destined for Nashville via Louisville. Five hundred barrels of flour went down on the same boat for Louisville. The Mail Company have issued a card that they will, hereafter, take no provisions of any kind until permitted to do so by the committee of public safety. We understand that the ‘"small-lot shipments"’ will be stopped.--Cincinnati Inquirer.
