Discharged.

--A white man, named Walter Lacy, made his appearance before the Mayor on Saturday to answer the charge of stealing from the pockets of Patrick Haggerty, on Tuesday night last, one hundred and fifteen dollars. The complainant in this case being at the time of the alleged robbery in a state of beastly intoxication, and there being no other evidence to prove the guilt on Lacy, he was discharged from custody.

A negro man named Matthew was up before His Honor on the charge of stealing one coat valued at $20, and aiding and abetting a slave named Catharine to leave Thos. Bradford, her owner. Upon a failure to make the charge good, Matthew was discharged.
