ثِمْنٌ ثمن ثمنن The eighth young one or offspring. (A in art. ثلث.) -A2- One of the periods between two drinkings, or waterings, of camels: (S:) [or the end of one of those periods; namely, the night of coming to water which is] the eighth night of a period between two drinkings, or waterings, of camels, (K,) [counting the night of the next preceding drinking, or watering, as the first: see رِبْعٌ and خِمْسٌ &c.] See also 4.
